BECAME MILLIIONAIRES
IN 2006
The management committe of the Delta State Polytechnic Staff
Multi-purpose co-operative society, Otefe-Oghara
has declared a neet surplus of N2812177 for the year ending 2006. This pictures an increase of
N1546087 or 122.5 percent netted by by the society in 2005.
The President, Mr. Samuel Akpodonor gave this figures at the 3rd Annual General meeting of the
Cooperative in Oghara.

3. OGHARA POLY WINS 3 GOLD MEDALS AT WAPOGA (YABA TECH 2007)
Contigents of the great poly to the just concluded Premier West African
Poly Games (WAPOGA) which took place at Yaba Tech, Lagos from saturday 24th to Saturday 31st Marcch 2007 came back with 3
gold medals, placing the poly in the 7th position out of the 32 participating schools from West African Region and Sub-Region.
The first gold medal caame from Miss Blessing Okagbare of Business Administration
Department in the triple jump (women)with 13m. She won another in the 100m Hurdles (Women) wwith a show of class.
Another female athlete, Miss Believe Utobivwi of Banking and FInance Dept
won another gold medal in the the Long jump (women)event.
Our qquartet of MIss Benson Maargaret of Business Admin Dept, Blessing
Okagbare, Believe Utobivwi and Timi of Elect/Elect Dept made it to the finals in the 4X100m relay event but not participate
in the end.
Our men sprinters were not left out.Amaefule John Kennedy (MECHANICAL DEPT),
Okoro Daniel (COMP SCIENCE DEPT), Vitor Mike Oyemah of Business Admin, and Eruvwetere Emmanuel of Mechanical Dept qualified
for the finals in the 100m men, 200m men, 4X100m men and long jump events.
